Harvest Days!
Every third Sunday we do a harvest of English Ivy for basketry and paper making materials! This supports the ongoing need of the ecosystem for humans to be interacting with the ivy in order to keep its overabundance in check!
Meet up at the park and learn to harvest and process vines for basketry, make friends, and directly support the health of the Sausal Creek Watershed!
We meet at the Dimond Canyon El Centro trailhead at 10am and stay harvesting along the trail until 3pm. Just walk along the trail until you see our banner and people having fun pulling ivy! Or text us and we can give you a more exact location!
